These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MemeBot, a Discord application operated by GiggleByte AB (“we”, “us”). By inviting or using MemeBot, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
MemeBot provides Discord slash commands and related features such as memes, games, reminders, server utilities, and AI-assisted commands (via Spockify). Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.
2. Eligibility & Discord rules
You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Server admins who invite MemeBot are responsible for how it is configured and used in their servers.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use MemeBot to:
- Break the law, or Discord’s or our rules
- Harass, abuse, spam, or disrupt others
- Attempt to exploit, overload, reverse engineer, or attack the bot or its infrastructure
- Generate or share illegal, harmful, or disallowed content through AI or other commands
We may refuse or limit access if we believe these Terms are violated.
4. AI features
Some commands send prompts and related context to third-party AI services (currently Spockify). AI output can be wrong, biased, or unexpected. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or other critical advice. You are responsible for how you use AI responses.
5. Availability
We aim for good uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, Discord outages, and third-party failures may affect features.
6. Intellectual property
MemeBot branding, code, and site content belong to GiggleByte AB or its licensors. Content you submit through Discord remains subject to Discord’s terms; you grant us a limited license to process it as needed to run the service.
7. Disclaimer
MemeBot is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the bot.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version at this URL. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Contact
